Lyme Bay Rib Charter

Relax Beachside

East Beach
A large expansive pebble & sandy beach, East Beach is the go-to-beach for West Bay, perfect for a walk, relax or dip in the sea! There’s also a lovely coastal path leading to the top of the towering cliffs offering you some amazing views overlooking the beach.

West Bay Canoes

Harbourside
Head down to the harbour and meet the West Bay Canoes team! They offer an epic guided tour up the Brit lead by their experienced instructors, it’s a unique way to explore the local area and you might even spot a kingfisher or two. With sessions running in the morning and afternoon, they even offer sunset paddles in the evening during the summer months! It’s a great day out for families, couples and everyone in-between so grab a paddle and get on board!

The Bayside Sauna

If a cold-water plunge and hot wood-fired Swedish sauna sounds like the perfect beachside activity for you, The Bayside Sauna will definitely be calling your name! This is an epic spot for a refreshing & rejuvenating experience whilst gazing out across the incredible views towards the towering iconic Jurassic cliffs!

West Bay Discovery Centre

Beachside
The West Bay Discovery Centre is located in a beautifully restored Methodist Chapel and holds a treasure trove of information about the local area from it’s maritime industry to the history of the Jurassic Coast. They also have a visitor information point and small local gift shop, offering you a lovely way to learn about West Bay whilst gathering some useful tips on the best places to explore in the area.

Rubicon Kitchen

The Mound
Rubicon Kitchen is the place to go for the freshest seafood in the bay, this spot gets nothing but rave reviews for its creativity! We highly recommend the bouillabaisse or the fish tacos, although it’s the perfect place to try something new too. So head on over, grab a picnic table and have a seafood feast in the salty coastal air.

The Watch House

East Beach
Fancy some delicious Italian wood-fired pizza or homemade pasta whilst overlooking the Beach? The Watch House is the spot for you! With an Italian background but drawing inspiration from local West Bay produce, The Watch House offers the best of both worlds! Rise

Riverside
Located along the picturesque waterfront, Rise is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, relax fireside in winter or head on out to the open terrace for refreshing drinks in the warmer seasons. The menu has an excellent variety of dishes and it’s known for it’s generous portion sizes, our favourite for awesome views across West Bay!

The Old Railway Station
For a unique experience head on over to Platform, a charming station house and WW1 train carriage refurbished into a eatery and cocktail bar! The atmosphere is top notch and the emphasise on fresh & local produce will make this a memorable dinner on any coastal getaway!

Seagulls Restaurant

Seagulls Restaurant is a wonderful independent business open for lunches and evening meals with something to suit everyone, a great spot for family outings. End a lovely meal with one of their homemade desserts - they’re known for their bread & butter pudding!
