Working with boutique holiday home owners in Lyme Regis
It all began with an idea whilst sitting in Mike’s cottage in Lyme Regis, to create a collection of boutique holiday stays in Lyme Regis on the south west coast of Dorset. Mike and Anna offically launched Lyme Regis Stays in December 2019 and worked hard renovating & refurbishing a small collection of holiday properties delivering a Pinterest worthy design style. Each property telling a story of days gone by exposing parts of the architecture or smoothing plaster around Jurassic fossil gems which peep through the walls.
Anna & Mike have since curated a portfolio of boutique holiday properties in Lyme Regis from delightful grade 2 listed riverside fishermen’s cottages to Waterside, the famous ‘blue shutter house’ on the Lynch & River Lym built in the 1800s. All are now sought after holiday lets, with some guests staying longer to work, choosing hybrid working over long weekends and a wonderful smattering of authors choose to stay and write.
Seahorse Cottage along with a few others have been refurbished top to bottom. It was whilst Mike’s brilliant local build team bringing to life Anna’s interior designs that other holiday home owners in Lyme Regis began to notice their presence ‘in person’ and on ‘instagram’. Being especially interested in how Anna & Mike promote to a unique audience who are incredibly loyal to each property, repeatedly booking holidays.
Anna said, ‘It’s wonderful liaising with likeminded owners who have incredible properties, each one having an advantage in terms of location, period features or just has an overall uniqueness to it. I know our Lyme Regis Stays audience will LOVE them and we can’t wait to release each one as they come. We’ll be doing so to our loyal database of first of course with a personalised marketing strategy for each new property and individual ongoing promotion’.
