  • Headland Hideaway –

    Parking space for 2 cars at the property.

    Austen’s Garret –

    Very few properties in the centre of Lyme Regis benefit from immediate parking and we are located by the seafront.

    We recommend the NCP Pitthouse CarPark DT7 3QF (located to the right of Tesco on Broad Street) which is a 1-minute walk away. Parking costs: £12.95 per day. It is worth downloading the NCP Parking app in advance.

    All other properties –

    You can park at the bottom of Hill Road (virtually next to the property) by the river (DT7 3PD) to drop off your things before parking your car.

    We recommend Woodmead Car Park (DT7 3PG), which is located a 2-minute walk away. Parking costs: Three-day ticket - £35.00

    Weekly ticket - £65.00 with the ‘JustPark App (car park number 7622).

    It has two electric charging points too.

  • Train from London (Waterloo) to Axminster take 2 hours 42 minutes and is across gorgeous countryside.

    Buses leave Axminster when the trains arrive and drop off at Co-op in Lyme Regis, a few minutes walk from all the properties (except Headland Hideaway 20 mins walk).

    Please note the last bus leaves at 5pm.

    After that you will need to have pre-booked a TAXI

    Note: All taxis need to be booked well in advance in Lyme Regis at all times of the year.

  • We happily accept well behaved pets in:

    Lyme River Cottage (one Pet) – Garden is not enclosed

    Headland Hideaway (up to two pets) – Very large garden with streams and hedges, please be aware of local wildlife. Garden is not fully enclosed.

    Starch Mill (up to two pets) – Garden is enclosed

    Please keep pets off the furniture and beds thank you.

    Please clean up after your pets as we have children staying in all the houses.

  • Check in is after 3pm and check out is by 10.30am

    We will always try and enable earlier check in.

    Our housekeepers work mornings so we cannot do late check outs, sorry.

  • If you are arriving earlier or need to stay in Lyme later we have outhouses you can store your luggage in, just ask

  • Headland Hideaway, Starch Mill, The Lyme Nook and Austen’s Garret all, have feather duvets and pillow.

    All other houses have man made.

  • We can supply an Ikea Highchair and Greco Compact Travel Cot which will be there for you upon arrival. We do not supply bedding for the travel cot and some guest like to bring a mattress for it as well.

    Please note Austen’s Garret does not accept infants or children.
